Muddied earth
As miniature rivers
Course down trees and leaves
No other sound can be heard
Over the cheering
Cloud burst.
Puddles become ponds
Paths tiny torrents
Flow to larger lakes
On their way back to
Oceans depths.
A waterfall
From the sky
Nurturing nature
Bringing life.
